Wednesday, Nov. 14 is THE BIG GIVE for all 16 Maryland community colleges. Now is your chance to help make BIG dreams start with small gifts at the College of Southern Maryland, and win BIG for LAX at CSM and potentially yourself as there will be giveaways throughout the day including a New Apple iPad Mini, a Blu-Ray Player with IMAX and Blu-Ray movie, gas cards and more.
CSM is working to launch men's and women's lacrosse and is just shy of making it a reality. LAX is one of the projects that is receiving support through The BIG Give on Wednesday, Nov. 14, and there are some specific prizes for the teams who post the most donations. For LAX donations specifically, prizes include:
Chesapeake Bayhawks Lacrosse Opening Game Tickets
Cheer on the Chesapeake Bayhawks Lacrosse Team during the 2013 season opener! Those that make a donation to the CSM Lacrosse team will be randomly chosen for two tickets, and there will be two drawings.
University of Maryland Playmaker Prize
The top two lacrosse supporters who get friends and families to give on their behalf will receive an original Maryland Terps Lacrosse T-shirt signed by the 2013 men’s lacrosse team. Family and friends MUST type your first and last name in the “Dedicate my donation to someone” field when making their gift on your behalf. Be sure you instruct them to do this since it is the only way to ensure you receive credit.
The BIG Match Prize of $1,000
The CSM Foundation will match up to $1,000 for the Athletic team that raises the most money. The winner will be announced on November 15.
